My Erasmus experience at ESDIR has been nothing short of extraordinary. From the very beginning, we were extremely well prepared and informed. The communication was clear, and every aspect of the program was thoroughly explained in advance. The support system in place is excellent, providing a strong sense of reassurance and guidance throughout the exchange. The teaching staff, in particular, have been absolutely exceptional. Their kindness, patience, and dedication have played a major role in making me feel welcomed and understood. As a student from a textile design background entering a fashion-focused department for the first time, I was stepping into unfamiliar territory. However, the teachers were always there to support me, encouraging me through every step and contributing greatly to the passion I have developed for fashion. What started as a curiosity to explore a new field and learn the basics of sewing quickly turned into a true calling. I now leave with the conviction that I have found the career path I want to pursue; and the teachers have been instrumental in that discovery. The school’s facilities are outstanding, and they opened up an entirely new world for me. The various installations, the inspiring conferences, and the creative atmosphere all contributed to an enriching and unforgettable journey. I am deeply grateful to ESDIR for giving me the opportunity to grow both personally and (hopefully) professionally. This experience has helped shape my dreams, and it is one I will always cherish. Thank you for everything.

My main reason for going to Spain for Erasmus was to practice my Spanish since half of my family is Mexican. Before coming to Spain I was very insecure about my language skill but now since (fortunately for me) most of the professors didn’t speak English I was able to push myself to speak. Now I feel like I’m much better at it. I also was extremely lucky when it comes to my classmates who were extremely helpful and very talkative. Same goes with most of the teaching staff who were also helpful and very caring of us. Besides learning more Spanish I had the chance to get better in organizing my work and using the basic programs which I am extremely for. I will forever cherish this experience and recommend everyone to try, because every experience is completely different. Thank you so much.

Mi experiencia Erasmus me permitió vivir una aventura internacional realmente enriquecedora. Conocí a estudiantes de diferentes orígenes, y el buen ambiente en mi clase facilitó mucho mi integración: fueron muy acogedores y comprensivos. Nunca podré agradecerles lo suficiente por su amabilidad y su apoyo. Esta experiencia también me ayudó a ganar autonomía y a adaptarme a nuevas situaciones. En cuanto a los estudios, los cursos fueron variados y los profesores mostraron mucha paciencia, lo que hizo que el aprendizaje fuera más agradable.
En resumen, ha sido una de las vivencias más enriquecedoras y significativas de mi vida.
